All attempts ended with the same message below. I also tried re-installing the app on a different drive. I have a couple of terabytes of free space and no issues with permission rights. I then rebooted and still have the same issue.
Downloaded CCleaner and it cleared a bunch of associated registry items. I already deleted all files manually from the drive they were on. If you have an account on a parent's, college or business computer you may not have install privileges. If the game still won't run because of incorrect permissions then make sure that your account actually has the ability to install files. Now, download and run CCleaner, both the temporary file cleaner and the Registry cleaner. If a Registry entry or botched uninstall is preventing the game's re-install then you might try this:įirst, manually remove the folder C:\Games\World_of_Warships.
